NOW’s working committees provide oversight, continuity, and strategic direction. They establish standards and frameworks that guide programs, partnerships, and volunteer efforts. Committees are composed of board members and trusted contributors and operate within defined scopes. They do not manage day-to-day tasks, but ensure accountability, credibility, and long-term impact.

Volunteers are the hands-on force behind NOW’s mission. Opportunities are seasonal, task-based, and program-specific, allowing individuals to contribute based on their interests and availability. Volunteers support committee-guided programs but do not participate in governance or decision-making.
